Daily Image

I can't really post too many images at the moment without giving away too much about some upcoming projects. But from today I'll be posting little snippets of current work on a daily basis.

Lonely Monsters pages - Old VS New

When I decided to switch away from an ongoing series of 32 page comics (instead doing a series of 120 page graphic novels) I took the opportunity to rework (and in some cases completely rebuild) the pages from the first (and only) Lonely Monsters 32 page issue. Let me know what you think :-)

New Stuff

A quick update.....

1. A new design can be found in the "Bits and Pieces" section at www.cafepress.com/lonelymonsters on t-shirts and other things.
2. Recently designed the promotional material for the Sydney Road Film Competition.
3. Currently designing the promotional material for the "I Art Sydney Road" event to take place during the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
4. Still working hard on the final stage of Lonely Monsters Book One and a childrens book currently titled The Unfortunate Life Of An Unfortunate Boy.
5. About to go to bed and get some much needed sleep!

Will post some images here soon. Until then you can check out some new stuff at http://696gallery.ning.com/ under "Matt" and also the weekly webcomic at www.savagebastard.blogspot.com

Lonely Monsters reworked page

So as I continue to get new pages done up for book one of Lonely Monsters I'm also reworking the grey-tones for the first 24 pages. I was happy with the original tones that appeared in issue #1 at the time, but a few things bugged me about the technique I was using. So when the decision was made to drop the single issue cycle and switch to the graphic novel format I decided to redo the tones for the first issue. Here's a reworked page......
